The Port of Bremerton Marina expansion consisted of twelve concrete sections of fabricated concrete for the Bremerton Marina, making it 1,400 lineal feet of expansion. The concrete sections were filled with polystyrene foam which was reinforced and post-tensioned & ballasted. These concrete bodies were prefabricated in Everett, Washington weighing approximately 800 short tons each. The final assembly then toko place in the river. Once assembly was done the floats were transported from Everett to Bremerton.
